There are multiple math tutorial videos posted below, some from years past. The top set of videos will be the most recent ones and the ones you should watch first. They will be labeled with the correlating Khan Academy activities. As the weeks progress, I will continue posting more videos. It might seem redundant to make video tutorials when there are already videos on Khan Academy, but figured some of you might appreciate them.
Peace,
Dr. Moe
Math 8 Online Class Structure: Each week I will be posting Khan Academy assignments, Google Slides &Videos for taking Input notes, and Output problem sets that you can complete and upload your work to Seesaw. I will also be including the links for the outputs on Google classroom. Take your Input notes in a notebook and work on the Output questions as often as you can.
Exit tickets (Seesaw) will be used to assess understanding and monitor effort/participation from the students, and will be assigned once or twice a week on class days (Tuesday & Thursday). Teacher comments and a score of 1 - 4 will be given for the exit tickets via Seesaw.
We will be meeting virtually at least once a week (for now, anyways) to discuss assignments, questions and or problems. My office hours are: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 2 to 3 pm. Fridays I will be available from 1 -- 3 pm. You can contact me via email or use Google Classroom for comments.
